My goal with the things I do and how I choose to live is to find balance and meaning.

I've found that the way to free myself is not by looking outside but inside of me. So far, I've visited and revisited some big emotional wounds. Even if many people are afraid to take this pathway and choose not to see what they hold inside because it might be painful, in my experience, it all has been so liberating.

Practicing this inner work has unlocked the blockages holding me back and making me suffer. Now that I understand how I operate, I feel safer. I have learned to trust my gut feelings, read life's language and interpret it, so I now navigate life from a more natural position. I am more the true Paloma than ever before, yet there's so much of me still hidden under so many layers of thought, beliefs, fears, and judgment that must be uncovered.

Apart from keeping an open attitude toward life and trying to learn as much as possible from the things that happen to me, these are the things that have allowed me to decode my inner world, and I want to share them with you.

I like to think of the enneagram as a compass for life. I was introduced to this tool while an adolescent during a retreat my therapist hosted at his little cottage in la Alpujarra (Granada). I could identify my type immediately with his help, and I haven't stopped learning with this tool since then.

The enneagram paints the picture of how we behave when identified with the ego and shows us how to break the pattern and connect with a more genuine side of ourselves.

If you want to learn more about the enneagram and your type, I suggest you do so with someone who can guide you. You will find many tests online, but the results are often misleading since they focus too much on personality traits instead of discovering what motivates you to behave the way you do. That's where the magic lies.

This tool brings clarity and direction to your life experience and becomes a companion.

I’m sure you’ve at least heard of this book if you haven’t yet read it.

It meant unlocking the subtle part of myself that I didn’t even know existed. It helped me make sense not only of myself but the world and why humans behave the way they do. It’s also a kind of compass, in great and deep detail, that became a perfect match to understand the enneagram even better.

Reading it should be on everyone’s to-do list. I will never get tired of saying so.

I had no idea what I would find when I picked up this book. Little did I know it would become one of my most dear books. Thanks to Patricia Cameron, I understood that creativity is a spiritual thing and what I could do to make it flow. It made so much sense to me.

I started reading the artist way during the pandemic, so I had all the time in the world to go through the exercises, and wow, I could examine all the things that came to the surface. It’s a book full of inspiration and practices to help you unlock your creative power. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do. This book is for you.
